How many rooms do you have?
We have three rooms available. The rooms are located on the second floor.
How does the shared bath work?
Our guest rooms are on the second floor. We have two baths available, one on the first floor, one on the second. One of our rooms is available to rent with a private bath. If that is rented then the other two rooms share the downstairs bath with the innkeeper. If it is not rented then the three rooms share the upstairs bath. If there is only one booking then the bath is private by default.
Are your rooms smoke free?
Yes, the entire facility is a non-smoking location.
When is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served between and 8 and 10 am. If you would like an earlier breakfast I am happy to provide a continental breakfast and there is a coffee maker available in the kitchenette.
Do you cater to a specific diet?
I will do everything in my power to accommodate special dietary needs. It is not a gluten free kitchen, though I can prepare gluten free meals so long as your sensitivity is not critical. I always ask about allergies when your reservation is made through me, or when you arrive if you’ve used another site to make your reservation.
Are children welcome?
We accept reservations with children age 8 and up.
Is there television?
We do not have channels but we do have a monitor and dvd players as well as Suzanne has an extensive video library that she is happy to share with you.
Is wi-fi available?
Yes! Wi-fi is free with your patronage.
Are the dogs friendly?
The dogs are very friendly. They are kept gated, but love to have visits from our guests. The gates are to keep certain areas hair free, not because they are any trouble to guests.
Are there restaurants nearby?
Yes, there are two restaurants and a pub with-in walking distance and several more reachable with only a short drive.
How far are you from the ski slopes?
We are strategically placed near several mountains. You can reach these with just a short drive. Okemo: 20min, Magic: 15min, Bromley: 30, Stratton: 35, Killington: 45, Mt. Snow: 1hr (times are approximate)
What is there to do in the area?
In town we have many wonderful shops, including antique, book, home decor, and clothing stores. Chester is also near many popular tourist locations such as Grafton, Weston, Manchester, and Woodstock and are near both Vermont country store locations.
What kind of art does Suzanne do?
Suzanne specializes in equine art, but also does figures and pet portraits. She works primarily in oil and charcoal.
